Verivion helps institutions turn costly expert workflows into structured, auditable recommendations that can be delivered at scale.
The problem
Export programmes, procurement workflows, and public screening processes share the same structural tension: the expertise exists, but it cannot serve thousands of cases without cost rising sharply or quality dropping. AI is now being explored to automate more of these decisions. But if AI output cannot be verified or explained, it cannot be trusted. Verivion is built to close that gap.
An institution evaluating markets or suppliers pulls from a dozen sources and still lacks a single ranked view calibrated to the specific case. The insight is in the synthesis. The synthesis is missing.
A trade agency can advise hundreds of companies well. The actual need is often ten times that. Without structured automation, institutional reach stays artificially low relative to mandate.
When a recommendation needs to be explained to a board, a ministry, or an auditor, there must be a methodology to point to. An output you cannot trace is an output you cannot use.
Who It Is For
Verivion fits best where decisions need structure, traceability, and repeatability. That usually means institutions with programmes, mandates, or public accountability.
Trade agencies, export and investment bodies, grant administrators, procurement organisations, ministries, and public programmes making repeatable high-stakes decisions.
Chambers, industry associations, cooperative federations, development organisations, and member-serving bodies that operate with institutional accountability.
Large organisations where supplier selection, vendor screening, or investment decisions require structured scoring, audit trails, and defensibility to internal or external review boards.
The platform
A company profile goes in. A ranked recommendation comes out, with evidence and a clear decision trail. The same structure applies across decision domains.
The process starts with structured company information: what the company sells, how mature it is, what constraints it faces, and how much risk it can absorb.
Verivion classifies the company into the right goods or services track, then pulls the relevant market signals from its pre-computed intelligence layer across 202 markets.
The LH-MCDA engine weights criteria, maps cause-and-effect relationships, and stress-tests the outcome. The decision model is designed and validated upfront; once deployed, production execution is automated and fully traceable.
The output is a scored, ranked recommendation with supporting evidence, a structured advisory report, and a full decision trail that any stakeholder can follow.
Versioned intelligence databases built offline for each decision domain — trade data, regulatory indices, macro indicators, supplier risk data. Served read-only at sub-second response time. The equivalent of having a senior analyst's entire research available in milliseconds.
AHP weight elicitation + DEMATEL cause-effect mapping + AI augmentation + Monte Carlo stress-testing + immutable audit trail. The decision model is designed and validated with human oversight, then executed automatically in production. The methodology is published science. The implementation is proprietary.
Each vertical adds a domain intelligence database and a decision model. The Core engine is shared. That is why export can be the first application without being the last.
Verticals
Every vertical shares the same Core engine, the same audit architecture, and the same governance model. What changes is the domain intelligence and decision model. That is what makes expansion across institutional workflows economically attractive.
Which markets should this company export to? Ranked, scored, and supported by an evidence package and advisory report.
Which supplier should we select? Structured scoring against risk, compliance, cost, and strategic fit — auditable for every procurement review board.
Which foreign investors should we target? The mirror image of Export — same trade intelligence backbone, inverted. Every country has an investment promotion agency asking this question.
Which applicants should receive funding? Structured scoring for public funding bodies — from EU structural funds to national innovation grants. Consistent, defensible, audit-ready.
Which opportunities should this fund prioritise? Structured deal-flow scoring for sovereign wealth funds, DFIs, and national investment promotion bodies.
Which people, vehicles, cargo, sites, or signals should receive closer attention first? Structured prioritisation for border, inspection, and homeland-security-adjacent workflows.
Traction
"The integration covers the full SME advisory workflow: company profiling, market intelligence, decision engine, and local-language report output."
Verivion Export — active public-sector pilotThe science
LH-MCDA (Large-Language-Model-Hybrid Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis) is not prompt engineering. It is a published decision methodology with a real empirical foundation. The science is open. The commercial implementation is ours.
When LLM-generated pairwise comparison matrices produce a Consistency Ratio of 0.10–0.12, they are consistently correctable to full consistency with minimal human intervention — termed "graceful failure." This property is the basis for the governance design.
Ambiguity collapse and misaligned asymmetry — two distinct structural failure modes identified and documented. Verivion's architecture is designed to catch and correct both before they reach the output.
Spearman ρ = 0.086 across model pairs on final alternative rankings. Model choice is a major architectural decision, not a parameter. This finding underpins the model-agnostic, governed approach.
The EU AI Act raises the bar for AI used in high-risk decision contexts: explainability, governance, and audit trails matter. Verivion is designed with those requirements in mind from the start, not added later as a compliance layer.
Provenance-by-default · Upfront decision-model validation · Full decision lineage recorded · Modular AI layer for independent audit · Governed production execution
The market
Stripe did not invent payments. They built infrastructure that made a complex process repeatable. Verivion's long-term ambition is similar: decision infrastructure for environments where process quality matters.
The first vertical — export market selection — is a deliberate institutional wedge. Trade agencies, public programmes, and development bodies face this problem repeatedly and visibly.
The EU AI Act is not the whole story, but it is a real forcing function. Organisations using AI in regulated or high-accountability contexts increasingly need systems they can explain, review, and defend.
Go-to-market
The export vertical is a land-and-expand play. Every deployment adds a home-exporter intelligence artifact — a new country's perspective on 202 markets. Estonia is first. Similar markets can be expanded faster because the core platform stays the same.
The bigger opportunity is that the same institutional buyer profile can also need procurement, grant, and investment-screening workflows on the same underlying infrastructure.
Roadmap
Technical PoC delivery May 31. Production target July 2026 for the Estonian export integration. Full services coverage and Estonian-language output.
Further export deployments, active discussions with EU agencies and US partners, and the first FDI Attraction build on the shared intelligence backbone.
Verivion Procurement, the first enterprise or institutional client beyond export, the supplier-selection intelligence layer, and more formal compliance work where needed.
Grant, Investment Screening, and security-screening-adjacent verticals, multiple home-exporter deployments, and broader Core API licensing into institutional and enterprise decision workflows.
The founder
Uku built the entire Verivion platform as its sole engineer: the intelligence pipelines, the decision engine, and the integration layer now running in pilot with the Estonian public sector.
The scientific foundation, LH-MCDA, came out of his master's thesis at TalTech (top marks, May 2025), supervised by Assoc. Prof. Innar Liiv. The methodology is published open science. The platform is proprietary UQ OÜ IP, built independently.
Bootstrapped and self-sustaining. Scaling internationally is where the right partnership changes the trajectory.
